Mission

It is vital for a service to be provided on the ground and be run by the people with HEAPS Australia advisors and mentors by their side so that the work is relevant and has the maximum impact.

We promote and encourage women to be in power which gives them a stronger voice, authority, influence and responsibility.

It is well recognized that village women invest in their family and are knowledge seekers, not afraid to speak out or ask questions when given a safe platform to express themselves.  

Helping people to help themselves where the local people are supported to enhance their community and to do this in a manner which is workable longterm. People know and understand their local community problems and are able to find solutions that are obtainable; to further their development all they need is increased skills and knowledge, the equipment and tools to do this, along with a solid support system which enables people to reach their full potential.
